Tesco Entertaining Cheese.... Yes Please!!

As some of you know, I'm a Bzz Agent.  For those of you who don't, this means that I get to try out lots of products for free, in return for me spreading my honest opinion about the products.  This can be done by word of mouth, reviews, facebook, etc...  So, anytime, any place anywhere really!!  And of course we report our feedback to Bzz Agent by way of reviews, reports, surveys, photos, tips...and lots more.  If you'd like a more in depth explanation, please head over to: https://www.bzzagent.co.uk/   for full details.

Well, back to the subject of this blog... Tesco Entertaining Cheeses!  You've probably guessed by now that I am trying some of these fab cheeses out for my latest Bzz Campaign :)  And fab they really are.

Some really unusual little gems in this range, my favourite being the Baking Camembert with a Sweet Chilli Glaze....heaven in a wooden tub!  It really was LUSH...granted, a little smelly, but lush all the same!  Not the best campaign for my waistline though... I soooo enjoyed fresh crusty bread dipped into this gooey melted cheese, with a fab sweet & not too hot kick from the glaze.  I WANT MORE!!

My other favourites were the Italian Mozzarella with Green Pesto Dressing, which livened up some Ciabatta bread & tomato slices a treat... making a tasty lunch.  A great combination of flavours with this one.

And then there was the Mexican-Style Monterey Jack, which I served melted over tortilla chips...I even cheated and used the microwave to melt it...RESULT!  A tasty snack in less than a minute!  This one was a little hotter than I would usually eat, thanks to the jalapenos, but it tasted so good I can easily put up with the extra 'fire'!

Too many nice cheeses to mention in this one blog... and I've tried out a fair few more.  Can highly recommend, although the prices are a little steep compared to their regular counterparts without the fancy extras.  All that said, still very much worth it if you're after something that little bit different.

Oh, and also recommended by my pooch!  He was oh so very interested when I unpacked the cheeses after returning from Tesco!!  Especially the camemberts!!

Please Mum??!!

Snotty Moo!

I'm officially a Snotty Mooo!  Okay, so many of you know that already lol, but this time it's in the physical sense!

Charlotte has had, and still has a snuffly nose & congestion. I initially thought it was hay fever, but given her spectacular sneezes that would put the stalactites at Cheddar Gorge to shame, and the fact that her 'hay fever' now seems to have attached itself to me also, I think it's safe to assume it's a summer cold.

Normally a cold doesn't bother me in the least, but this time I'm feeling totally sorry for myself & poorly sick.... I really must be getting old!

My usual perfume has today been replaced with Eau-de-Olbas-Oil, with a little Eau-de-Vick for good measure.  I couldn't smell it & may've overdone it just a little.  Unfortunately everyone else could smell it.... for about a twenty mile radius according to Phil!

Worse, my voice is sounding identical to the British Rail Tannoy system, you know,  like a peg's clamping my nose!   My loud sniffing, & vicious new bark has probably got neighbours thinking we have a new dog.  And talking of dogs, ours isn't impressed with my newly acquired sound effects either.

But the most amazing thing of all?  The SNOT !!  Which has caused my inquisitive mind go into overdrive... I've been nicknamed 'Why Bird' in the past by certain friends, for my incessant questioning of everything!  And this has set me off again.
So I'm now wondering WHERE THE HELL DOES ALL THIS SNOT COME FROM????!! How can it instantly replace itself when I blow my nose?  And seemingly add a bit more each time to its volume??  It's like I have a snot- factory going on inside my head.   Lovely topic NOT.  But it truly amazes me as to how the hell it keeps reproducing itself.

Ah well, this Old Snotty Moo is now off to wallow in a very too-hot bath, and hopefully emerge in an hour  feeling human again.    Apologies for the disgusting blog topic tonight  ;)

Just a Thought...

Last night I had an email invitation from Hoseasons inviting me to review our recent long weekend booked with them.  Sad, but I actually quite enjoyed filling in all the pros & cons and giving my overall opinion of our break!

So much so, a thought entered my busy head.... hmmm, maybe this would actually be pretty good to do about everywhere I stay, or eat out at?  Given the fact that we are currently having to go out of our house for respite & have stayed in an motley assortment of accomodation lately,  I would have quite a bit to write!  I intended to review some of these places on Trip Advisor but, as is usual for me, I have never quite got round to actually doing it lol!

I started up this Blog back in Feb, with the intention of documenting the ups & downs of everyday life in our house (hence the title!), but again did absolutely nothing after creating it.  'Time' is not always easy to come by here.

So I've decided that I may as well put this existing blog to use, but for both of the above topics, and any other random shizzle that happens along the way!  It's more than likely going to be a totally chaotic mix of totally unrelated (and maybe sporadic) posts, but that will pretty well mirror my life in general!!

Laters :D
